Although the traditional roofing option for an orangery is a flat roof with a lavish Skypod roof lantern fitted within the centre, we can fit an orangery with either a glass roof or one of our patented NuRoom tiled roofs, depending on your preferences.

How long does an orangery take to install?
As we use our very own, patented steel structure when building orangeries and other forms of home extension, we’re able to install orangeries quicker and more efficiently than installers who use traditional building methods. Not only do we use 10% less concrete than traditional building techniques but we can get an orangery built from start to finish in less than 2 weeks. This is significantly quicker than 3-5 weeks it takes when using traditional methods.
As is the case with the other types of home extension that we install here at TWS Leeds, we ensure our orangeries fully comply with the relevant Building Regulations when It is necessary for them to do so. Failure to comply with Building Regulations can lead to an orangery, conservatory or another form of extension needing to be altered or removed later down the line. In extreme cases, you may even be liable for prosecution.
If you plan on selling your home, you will also need to acquire retrospective Building Control approval. However, you can forget about this and the aforementioned issues arising when choosing us to improve your home because we ensure for total compliance at all times.
