To ensure a good Window Energy Rating (WER) it is vital that the glass and frame marry together. TWS has access to a broad range of window styles with different specifications to ensure that we can provide all of our customers with the best selection of high performing windows.
In addition to in-house tests, independent bodies such as the British Standards Institute (BSI) and the British Board of Agrément (BBA) test all of our window systems, providing you with peace of mind. Quality control is paramount with all of our factory suppliers operating to EN ISO 9001 (formerly BS 5750).

What is C70 & O70?
Kömmerling’s C70 & O70 window and door system is designed around a 70mm front to back dimension. The profile is highly versatile making it suitable for variety of projects that include, refurbishment and renovation works where the dimensions make it possible to directly replace old wooden windows and doors. It is also suitable for new build projects.

BBA tested for quality assurance
Kömmerling’s PVC-u inserts have been tested by the BBA to BS EN 6375 for air permeability, water and wind specifications, and performed well. Using thermal inserts, casement windows can be fabricated up to a maximum height of 1500mm and 750mm wide for a single-hung window – a significant increase over the previous maximum.
Kömmerling Profiles in conjunction with their raw material suppliers, guarantee for a period of 10 years all their white and laminated PVC-u products against discolouration, warping and cracking provided that all products have been fitted to the manufacturers recommendations.
