Radiators v Underfloor Heating

It is a known fact that heat rises, so it is an intelligent choice to use your entire floor as a radiator.

The Heat mat solution allows you to furnish as you please without needing to make allowances for radiators or storage heaters.

The system comes with a 10 year warranty but will keep heating as long as your floor is intact.

With underfloor heating you achieve a comfortable temperature around your feet, and a slightly lower temperature around your head thereby creating the perfect indoor climate.

Underfloor Heating is easy to install and is completely maintenance free.

Underfloor heating systems can be fitted with a digital thermostat timer with a floor and room sensor allowing you to completely control the heating in the room.

Electrical underfloor heating has the advantage that it only takes about an hour for the entire floor to become warm. It is easy to lay and install without it being necessary to dig up the entire floor.

 

What Type of System is best for me?

There are many types of underfloor heating on the market but there are 2 main types that are most commonly used by installers. These are under-laminate floor heating systems and underfloor heat mats for tiles or ceramic floors.

 

Underfloor Heating Mats - for tiled or ceramic flooring

Suitable to provide full room heating in all rooms including conservatories and therefore negating the need for radiators.

Once installed completely maintenance free.

Underfloor heating allows easy placement of furniture, helps prevent draughts and can benefit anyone who is allergic to airborne particles such as dust and pollen.

Simple to install with easy to follow instructions.

The only BEAB approved system on the market. BEAB approval confirms the systems have been independently tested and are safe and meet all current regulations.

Supplied with Heat Mat's HT10 digital thermostat timer with floor and room sensor allowing complete control of your heating system.

2.9mm heating wire on a fibreglass mesh with double sided tape, allowing rapid installation.

The cable is pre-spaced for you to ensure a consistent temperature.

 

Wooden Floor Heating - for floating laminate flooring

Suitable to provide room heating in well insulated areas or floor heating in other circumstances.

Once installed completely maintenance free.
